Around the world, March 22nd marks the United Nations’ observance of World Water Day. On this annual date, attention is focused on the importance of water and the sustainable management of our water resources.
This Friday, the NY Blue Tech network will be hosting a World Water Day Symposium to discuss water challenges, both specific to New York as well as internationally, with integrated water management being the key focus.
Ed Clerico, PE, CEO Emeritus will be participating in an educational panel addressing water detention, on-site reuse and resource recovery; Panel III at 11:00 a.m. This educational panel will be moderated by Jennifer Cherrier, Professor, Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Brooklyn College. The other panelists include; Eric Fontenot, Head of Urban Water, DHI Group, Scott Landers, P.E., Strategic Partnerships, OptiRTC, and Robert Pape, Wastewater Resource Recovery Lead, AECOM.
The NY Blue Tech network is New York’s first water sector network that is international and interdisciplinary. The network consists of more than 60 professionals with a passion for urban water, including engineers, urban planners, architects, and researchers..
